1) "Huh, you didn't even ask me before you gave me the invitation card"
Well what can I say? Isn't that the purpose of an invitation card i.e., to accept or decline my invitation. I find it rather funny with some of the absurd rules which comes along with such invitation. Some say that such invitation card forms a way of asking for red packets (which are used as monetary gifts) Therefore you should always ask for that person's permission before "actually" sending the card. If this is the case, then why should I even print the invitation card in the first place, shouldn't we promote "green" environment and stop sending card altogether?? This is the one thing I disliked being a singaporean, it's so ridiculous!
1) "I just remembered I'm going to malaysia that week"
I sent the email announcement way before I sent the invitation card. If you can recall it now, why don't you do so earlier? Okay, I may seen demanding but at least some congratulation words for me? But I hear none of those.. Perhaps this came from the person whom doesn't like me at all I guess. (I'm glad that I am not part of these uncivilized people)
But all is not that bad, I still have friends who really want to attend one of the most important events in my life. They are going to bring their partners or kids and join me in my happiest day. Thank you friends! :D
yeah dun let some ppl ruin your big day! abt that fat hamster pig, she's just jealous coz she'll never look as good as u in any wedding gown!
ReplyDeleteI think the 1st one is really dumb lor! I send u the invite and if u dun come then just politely say no lah, why shd you ask first! And anyway, to me, if you aren't coming then dun need to give AP also ...
ReplyDeletePris: Hahaha..yeah I won't let such pple affect me. You know I'm going to let pple know my gown is from vera wang..*hahahahahah*
ReplyDeleteSiyong : Yes!! I agreed!! Actually when i sent invitation, I don't think about AP first. AP is really up to individuals. A card doesn't warrant for any AP.. Only kiasu pple thot it is

ReplyDeleteOkay, now that I've received the invitation card, I can drop a comment also! Ha Ha! Wanted to comment earlier but NEVER received the invites yet so cannot thick skin and say anything in case I not invited mah!!
ReplyDeleteAiyoh, Singaporeans really tops it with their insensitivity and are constantly taking things for granted! It's a celebration of 2 persons' love for each other mah, plain and simple enough what! If you are invited, treat it as an honour and join in the celebration lah! Why all these stupid ridiculous rules?!!
Drag them out and "qiang pi" them! BLAM! BLAM! (Anyway, dun think I'm going Malaysia on that day ba!!! HA HA!!)
Wahahaha....Thank you uncle max!! Of course you are invited! I have already put you in the list way ahead man!!
ReplyDeleteYar, some people are really insensitive. Not that I invite every year, but this is like the once in a life time kind of thing for me.. *haiz*..some more that person is married already. Well what can I say, there are all sorts of people out there.
Thank goodness there are good people like you too :D
